Flagging Tape is suitable for mining, construction, surveying, and numerous other applications. The main use for this within the mining and exploration is for marking out 'dig-blocks' in the open pit, and general site surveillance by the mine or exploration geologists & surveyors.
The tape is hand-tearable and available in bright, UV stabilised colours.
A lot of fieldies, surveyors and geologists will even tie flagging tape around timber survey stakes in the field to provide them superior visibility, with fluoro colours permitting easy sighting even at a great distance.
The standard flagging tape is 25mm wide, but some Geo's & Surveyors really like to use the double width 50mm for extra visibility, particularly when around large heavy machinery operators, as the extra width gives the required visibility right up in that machine cab!
